Sweet Scotty Rhett…my biggest surprise and an even bigger blessing. You’re one year old, son! It seems like just yesterday that I delivered you at home. You certainly have rooted yourself into the deepest parts of my momma-heart. You have brought so much joy into our home.
We spent your first birthday surrounded by family. You hated your cake and did a good bit of crying over it but that’s OK. I promise to always be a safe place to let you feel your feelings. Your daddy, brother, sisters, and I are just crazy about you! I can’t wait to stand by your side through year two and forever after that.
