Thanks for being here, friends! Today is the start of a 3 part series on goal setting and I can’t wait to dig in with y’all! These posts will be short, sweet and full of applicable content. Grab a pen and paper…let’s go!

Turn off all distractions. No phone. No music. No television and no computer. You own this to yourself. NO distractions. For the next 5 minutes (or more if you need) let’s write it out! What is it that fires you up? What means the most to you? WHO means the most to you? What activities fill your tank? Fill a page with the things that you love and when you’ve done that, let’s narrow it down to your top 10. My top 10 are the following…

1 – Quiet time/prayer life

2 – Pursuing oneness in my marriage/dating Scott

3 – Mothering my children to the best of my ability

4 – Leading worship/music

5 – Film photography

6 – Adventuring

7 – Food and wine

8 – Community/Connecting with my friends

9 – Dreaming/planning for the future

10 – Historic architecture and all things Southern

Narrowing this down will help us in part 3 of this series. Knowing what’s at the core of you, what lights your heart on fire is a great first step in the process of setting meaningful goals.
