Having 3 kids is no joke. It’s really, really hard. This little business of mine happens to be growing at the speed of light. I’m so blessed.

I’m also so overwhelmed.

Some time during the month February things began to unravel a bit. I realized that I have too much work. This is an incredible problem to have. I’m taken aback by the number of inquiries I’ve had this year and I’m truly humbled by the opportunities that have come my way.

2013 and 2014 were less busy for KMP…something to do with growing a new baby, delivering a new baby, recovering from delivering a new baby and exclusively nursing her. God did an amazing thing and sort of held my business in place, giving me just enough while we adjusted to life as a family of five.

Well, the floodgates are open and all I can think is, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming….”

My most commonly used phrase this year is, “I’m sorry, that’s not a project I can take on at this time”. If I say this to you, please don’t be offended. There aren’t enough hours in the day, enough days in the week, enough weeks in the year. When I say no to you, I’m saying yes to them…

katiemcgihon-44….I’m saying yes to my family.

Many thanks to my incredible clients, who are oh so patient with me while it takes me too long to answer emails. I love you all to the moon and back!
