3. What are your favorite foods? My mom—an Irish Catholic woman—make the BEST chicken tacos! On that note, I pretty much love all Mexican food!
4. Coffee or tea?Black coffee with pastries or dessert, iced chai in the summer, and hot tea as much as possible!
5. Your favorite lens, and why? I have a Canon 50mm f/1.4 that I bought when I first started shooting and that lens never fails. I love it’s framing, the way it authentically captures my subjects, and how lightweight it is!
6. What are you currently reading?I am notorious for reading multiple books at a time, but I’ll narrow it down to the 2 that have grabbed most of my reading attention right now: “The $100 Startup” by Chris Guillebeau and “Buddha’s Brain: The Practical Neuroscience of Happiness, Love & Wisdom” by Rick Hanson, Ph.D.
7. What are you grateful for today? My husband—I am grateful for him each and every day. His patience, his love, and the way he carries himself. He is goodness embodied.
8. Where would we find you on a Friday night? I love my friends, so most Friday nights are spent with good friends. We either get together at each other’s houses, go out to a bar or dinner together, or go to a movie, but there is usually lots of deep conversation, many laughs, and great love!
9. Your favorite scripture or quote? “Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peach of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:6-9.
