Well this date came up rather quickly and I was totally unprepared…no cupcakes, no candles, confetti or sparklers…and that’s OK. Today, KMP is seven years old. Seven!

Seven years ago, I launched my first website, had a shiny, new business license in my hand, and began charging people actual money (as opposed to being paid in Starbucks!) to make portraits of them. Never in my wildest of dreams could I have imagined where this crazy ride would take me. I never imagined that I’d have my husband by my side, and that we’d be planning something huge for our very near future (more on that later…). Never did I imagine that my work would grace the pages of magazines and national blogs, and that my images would be hanging in the walls of my client’s homes, as cherished works of art. I’m so grateful to each and every one of you, for loving and supporting me, and for trusting me to capture some of the most important moments of your lives.

All glory be to Him, who has blessed me beyond measure. My cup overflows!
