Happy Make Waves Monday, my friends. It’s time to share more about the KMP Studio and what we do there. I’m thrilled to let you all know that this little space of mine is dedicated to boudoir sessions. However, not just boudoir, but Beloved Sessions.

I’ve been shooting boudoir for quite some time now. I truly believe that a woman’s body is for herself and her husband, so I don’t share many (or any!) of these images. I’ve seen a trend in the photography industry lately, and it’s making me sad. “Boudoir” is pushed as far as possible. As much skin is shown as you can legally get away with and nothing is sacred. It’s a lot of shock and awe and not a lot of class.

That’s not me. That’s not my client. That’s never what you’ll get at the Studio. That’s why from now on, I’m offering Beloved Sessions.

My intention behind boudoir work is to capture the woman that your husband loves, not who the world thinks you should be. It’s as simple as that. Come as you are, sweet friend. Change NOTHING about your beautiful self. Do not lose 5 pounds. Do not get a spray tan. Do not purchase lingerie that makes you feel uncomfortable. Come as you are. YOU are perfect. YOU are worthy of being photographed, for your Beloved.
