Don’t kill me, but this post is way overdue. The third issue of Palm Springs Style Magazine just debuted a week or two ago, and I’m just now blogging our feature from the last issue. Such is life and better late than never!Isn’t this a beautiful publication? I’ve been so impressed with the quality and creativity of each issue. It just feels beautiful in your hands. The texture of the paper, the gilded logo…I can’t say enough about it.
I worked with a phenomenal team of vendors on this particular editorial and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. From the incredible venue, to the delicious food and lovely florals, it was executed with professionalism and love…it really shows.
After we finished photographing the delectable looking food set, we moved on to one of the quiet suites at the Korakia and shot the table installation. It was overcast that day, and as we were working, it started raining. Imagine a dim room, lit with 50 candles, full of luscious florals, white curtains swaying in the wind, the sound of rain on the Moroccan tiles outside. Heaven. One of the most serene moments I’ve experienced in a very long time.
